Background

Some of you, if you have been catching up on my posts, may have noticed that I had given my blog a 'spring feel'.
Unfortunately it was very slow in opening and for some it just wouldn't open at all, there by not allowing them to view the blog at all.

So I have reverted back to my Autumn/Winter background until I have 5 mins to work on choosing another one!

Preview

Have you noticed any changes to the 'Posting' page when writing your blog posts?
They have moved the preview button.
Was happy with that no problems.
Was even more happier when I realised that they have fine tuned the preview altogether.
It is amazing, when you view preview now, you actually get a preview of your blog page, you can actually get to see what it will look like when published, no more small box showing you an approximate idea, this is an actually post on your blog with 'preview' written across it.
So way much better.

So the next time you are sat writing a post, preview it and see what happens. It will make getting your layout exactly how you want it from now on

Blog Post Count

As you may remember from the beginning of the year, I am trying to post 366 (leap year) posts this year.

I have even gone so far as to put together an Excel spreadsheet with all the dates on and then what number post I should be on on what day.

If you look at my Blog Archive on the right hand side you will see that for 2008 I have posted 267 posts so far.

That is not bad going considering #267 actually equates to Sept 23!

So I am actually about 20 posts ahead of myself, which is great when I have such a busy couple of weeks ahead of me.

Means I can go to Tahiti and not have to worry if I don't get to add a few posts whilst there, although I will try to post something.

Maybe my challenge is not quite as difficult as I first thought it would be.

Blog Post Update

I set myself a goal on January 1, 2008 to post 366 posts this year.

So how am I doing?

Well during January and February I struggled a little, at the end of both months I was behind in the number of posts I would have liked to have posted, but that was the reason for aiming for 366 posts rather than 1 a day.
Since then I have managed to catch up a little, or a lot.
I am currently managing to post enough to keep me up to where I should be for the day of the year.
Sometimes I will post lots, like today, and that will put me a head by quite a few, but then I won't get on the computer for several days and I am still in line with where I should be.

So all in all it is going good. If I keep this up all year I will achieve my goal.
