What a Week

This last week has been busy but in that time I think I have secured a venue for the ceremony, afternoon tea and evening reception!

How is that for the first week of being engaged?!

You may remember my 2 posts about the Hamilton Gardens? Well this is where we are going to hold our wedding.

Now ok we are holding it in September, which to all you readers up north is similar to your March time, so may be a lovely day but will still be slightly cold.

But I think the gardens will be beautiful even at this time of year. The picture below shows you the inside of the greenhouse where the ceremony will take place.

Nothing too fancy, just a celebrant and a small ceremony. Everyone will stand whilst it takes place and then they will go off to the pavilion for afternoon tea. Then they will be free to wander around the gardens before the evening reception.
